I bought the iPad Air because I was ready for an upgrade of my previous 64GB + 3G + wifi generation one iPad. I like that the iPad Air is so much lighter than the 1st gen iPad. It also has a faster processor chip which means game apps load faster. I like using multitouch gestures to switch quickly between different apps. I dislike that the camera is 5.0mp because I know the current iPhone 5S has a 8.0mp camera, even though the resolution of the photos is good, it could have been a little better. I also dislike that there is no flash/torch like on the iPhones. In the tablet market the iPad Air is currently (Mar 2014) definitely at the high end of the top of the market.
