I love travel photography but get sick of carrying a heavy DSLR and Lenses this camera is not to small and not to big. Shots that I used to miss on my DSLR i'm now getting every time. Great camera for street photography and everything in between, the zoom is fast as is focus. It has most of the manual settings required for the advanced user. And continual shoot mode that is fast. A beginner can turn it to auto and produce high quality images straight out of the box. I have photos on National Geographic from this camera. The feed back from other photographers has been great they can't believe the images were taken on a bridge camera that is under 15 hundred dollars. The video quality is insane for a camera in this class. All up if your thinking of buying an entry level DSLR don't in 2017 this camera is now under 1200 dollars and produces images and has functions that an entry level DSLR can't compete with. Remember the quality of your lens is the most important thing. With Sony and Carl Zeiss working together the lens can't be beaten at this price. One camera to rule them all at just over a grand in Australia this will last most people years.Read full review

This is a great bridge camera. It’s not a one trick pony but shots stills and video commendably. The manual control and feature set are awesome.

Packs a punch for a convenient size, not pocket size but light and neat. Nice sharp images. Raw/jpg setting. Lots of manual control. Good zoom range. DSLR like camera with the convenience of a compact camera.
