Having just upgraded from an EOS 50D I was concerned about the increased weight - pleasantly surprised to find it feels solid and substantial without being heavy. And the SPEED of focussing (vital for sports and small active children) is breathtaking! The quality of the images at high ISO has me amazed - again, being able to take sports photos indoors at high speed has just opened a new door for me.
