I'm not sure if it is reliable as I haven't had it ling enough to know if it would fail, but I am expecting it to be reliable. It is good value in that many other 8 GB USB sticks are a lot more expensive and yet their performance isn't any better. I have bought other cheap USB sticks that have failed or aren't recognised by my computer. These seem to work well, so at this point I'm happy.
