I bought this Samsung 49" UHD TV (2018) model at an attractive discount & this has made the entire buying experience that much sweeter. While this is probably one of Samsung's basic 2018 models, the picture & sound quality should be more than good enough for most people. Compared with a 6 year old Samsung 46" FHD LCD TV which this replaces, I can say the improvements in just about every area that matters is quite remarkable. Not only is TV significantly cheaper, build quality, features set & AV performance have noticeably improved. In essence, the 49" Samsung UA49NU7100 UHD TV equals or betters it competitors in it price range.
