Easy to set up and use, works very well
The kit came with everything required to get started. It even has a computer mouse and all the required screws. Set up of this camera system took under 15 minutes. I bought a good quality video recording SATA hard drive (e.g WD Purple) and using the screws (also included in the camera kit) installed the drive. Then power up, set up your required features and security and it just works! The hard drive automatically detected and offered to format when the system starts for the first time. You will need to provide a monitor and either a HDMI or VGA cable to view the setup. I used a spare VGA cable. Tools - A medium (2) Philips head screw driver to open the recorder unit for the hard drive installation. I did a test record and saving to a USB thumb drive. It also was easy. I haven't tried the mobile phone application, there is a QR code on the top of the recording unit to get that going should I do so in the future. I would recommend the Zosi security cameras to anyone looking at a good quality camera that is easy to use and set up.

Good value simple security camera system that works well
Simple to setup and works well. I installed a new hard drive and easily formated and used straight away for recording. Cable connections were straight forward plugged in and the camera videos displayed on monitor. The videos were clear. This is a good value investment for a security camera system.

As a new customer for a home security system and not knowing which is a good product and which is not I took a gamble on this item and although I have not been using it very long I am impressed at how well it works especially the motion detection, already I have seen wildlife walking around our yard which I did not know about, hope it keeps working this good for a long time.

Good compact unit
I just bought the Digital Video Recorder without a hard drive and camera's as I already had a previous system installed. I fitted a 2 terrabite hard drive that I had previously purchased specifically for surveillance camera's. The unit came with all the necessary components and I assembled the unit very quickly, plugged everything in and it worked fine. I downloaded the Zosi Smart App to both my wife and my phone's and it is operating OK. In summary so far it has been a smooth operation at a very reasonable cost.
