Very difficult to open as there's nothing to grab on to and the plastic material is slippery. Once you do it's pretty easy to operate and it fills a large room with the aroma from the oil. I am annoyed though as I searched for diffusers that were cordless and this one came up. It is definitely not cordless and needs to be plugged in to work.

Not much mist comes out of the diffuser. I feel see any difference in the air and it hasn't made me feel any better when I wake up. I wouldn't use as a nightlight either, the way the item is made you can't really see the coloured light.
