Camera picture quality OK at best for POE cameras. One of four cameras picture quality has diminished in 11 months with minimal exposure to weather, the advertised 3 year warranty did not cover this. The provided Ethernet cables are very average quality but work fine. Pros: -Easy to use and manage -Cheap Cons: 1 - When connected to a network with internet access, the recorder makes outbound requests to IP addresses based in China (which I had to block from my firewall), which is a known issue on many of these Chinese camera systems whether or not they have cloud-based features enabled (There's no such options for these features on this unit either). 2 - The recommended XMEye app is clunky and very dated however, will do the job. Recorder comes with two accounts you can log into out of the box - 'admin' and 'default' No surprise, default account has no password - secondly you cannot delete this account, so you must lock it down as much as possible if you plan to connect to your system remotely. 3 - Software on the recorder is clunky but easy enough to use 4 - Build quality of the cameras are poor, no drill template provided. The hex screws can get rounded off easily and are very small. It is difficult to secure the camera positioning and making it tight enough that it won't move without actually damaging anything while doing soRead full review

True 1080p, easy to install, remote access all app works well. Only annoyance is the way the all goes back to midnight after viewing a historical clip. Great value for the price.
