This is a great addition to your mower if you have a large lawn and make frequent trips to your compost area. It was a bit of a fiddle to fit but that was probably because the mower is well used. Once in place it performs well. Frequent mowing is the key for this to work well.

    SP53H mulch plug

    Easy to fit and remove and it works. Probably a bit overpriced but saves tedious emptying and piles of rotting clippings. Don’t let grass get too long or it won’t work. Bit of trial and error needed on that. Early days but seems to chop up the leaves so they can be left on the lawn. Time will tell when they start falling at full rate. Overall pleased and wouldn’t be without it.

    Excellent

    An excellent addition to my mower, no more stopping every few minutes to empty the grass box. Takes half the time to cut the grass now and you really can’t tell that the clippings are there. Would highly recommend for anyone with a large garden.
