Brilliant little camera for just peanuts money. Far better than expected (Bought mine New from Argos, a few years back) Countless effects built-in, but is best used in Vivid or Regular mode Batteries are cheap & it can use aftermarket, happily, with no issues. Zoom is useful, built-in & has decent range, but will increase Purple-Fringing. Only major drawback is = It has NO viewfinder. You're reliant on the T.V.screen Lastly, has NO screw-thread for filters..... However...... Is a great little camera, punches well above it's weight, for it's low-budget price (I own Nikon D.3200/D.5300's, much more expensive, yet, still rate the SX.500is as "good")
