The Praktica 35 mm camera is a throwback to the days when cameras required film. The Praktica BMS is a camera base only. To operate the camera users will need a lens and other necessary attachments. There is a spot to attach a neck or wrist strap to the camera base. If extra lighting will be needed the SLR film camera body has an attachment for a flash. The lenses for the Praktica 35 mm camera will fit with a bayonet attachment. Those lenses that use different attachment methods will need a modifier to make them compatible with the Praktica BMS. The SLR film camera body is a manual focus camera and does not support autofocus features found on some lenses. The camera base is ideal for those camera enthusiasts who prefer the film SLR cameras to digital SLR cameras. The bayonet attachment is a standard attachment and the manual focus is perfect for photography students. The Praktica 35 mm camera is a well-rounded SLR film camera body that features items that are wanted by enthusiasts, students and professional camera users.
