    Faulty or dinosaur?!

    The camera has a good feel with easy to use features. Lightweight, beautiful looking. However I did not get to see the output because it did not accept any of the memory cards I tried to use (32 & 64Gb) displaying memory full or format memory card even when working in a different device. I've checked in different user fora and apparently the software does not accept anything above 2Gb!

    An easy to use, great little DSLR from Nikon.

    To some people 6.1mp is not enough in this day and age but forget it, it's the sensor that's important and this is where Nikon score over others. A great little camera, light and easy to hold and simple to operate with easy to use menus, great autofocus and metering. In short a great camera for the beginner wishing to start DSLR photography. Try looking at www.kenrockwell.com for his report on the camera including easy to follow, detailed instructions as how to set up the camera for the best results.

    Great Entry Level DSLR,takes great shots at a super price ;-)

    It's only an entry level DSLR camera,but I think if you know how too use digital camera's then it's great fun ;-) I use mine for mainly taking pictures of my African Cichlids,so I can post my results on the African Cichlid Hub Forum ;-) with great affect ;-) I must admit I'm still learning the settings,but you learn something new everyday ;-)

    An Excellent First digital SLR

    This is an excellent first digital SLR. It's the most user-friendly piece of equipment I have ever used and can make even someone with as little natural talent as me feel like David Bailey! It serves perfectly as a point-and-shoot, automatic snap camera as well as a fully manual SLR. With apperture and shutter speed priority settings and auto/manual focus, it can be operated as manually or automatically as you want. Through E-Bay I managed to pick it up for over €100 less than I would have paid at home in Dublin. I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending this product whole-heartedly.
