    An undiscovered gem

    Same as the F70 - different markets, different badge... No, it's not an F4 - in my opinion one of the best SLRs ever made. It's not quite an F100 either, though it's not far off and, in today's market, it's much cheaper to buy. It's well built (it is a Nikon!), rugged enough for most and with a metal lens mount. Autofocus and manual focus, and compatible with all Nikon lenses from AI onwards. 3.7 fps motor drive. 8 program modes, if you want to use it as a 'point and shoot'. Aperture priority, shutter priority (to 1/4000 sec) and fully manual too. Matrix, centre-weighted and spot metering. Built in TTL flash with a guide number of 14. Sync speed of 1/125 could perhaps be better, but is perfectly adequate for this type of camera. Slow sync is there when you need it. It is knocked by ...
