The camera was delivered ahead of he scheduled date. The recorded images are slightly jumpy rather than smooth. Vehicle registrations can't be read unless vehicles are stationary and about 6' apart. It would not be possible to identify pedestrians. But it would provide evidence in the event of collisions etc. The camera rattles when the vehicle is in motion which affects sound recording quality. But I wasn't expecting brilliant recording quality at such a low price.
