The lens arrived on time and is exactly as described. Have put it on my D7200 and it all works OK. I have to commend the packaging though. I haven't measured the amount of bubble wrap the box arrived in but it was huge. You could probably have delivered it by dropping it from a passing jet at 39,000 ft and it would have just bounced. I'm saving the wrap to insulate my greenhouse next winter. Brilliant service.

    A Top Quality Camera With Many Features

    The D5500 although now superseded by the D5600, is almost identical to the newer model. This mid-range series is universally recognised as one of the best cameras of its type. The professional cameras from Nikon do offer some additional features but at double the price. The range of features in the D5500 is considerable anyway. You can use it as a point and shoot camera in auto mode to start with but, then move to using scenes and although more complex you can then move to taking more control with program, aperture, shutter speed or manual options, when you want to seriously develop your skills. It can save in RAW, if you have the software and time to process each picture, otherwise set to JPEG. You can make a Wi-fi link to a smart device too as well as accepting a large range of FX ...

    Superb Camera - punches well above its weight

    This camera is, so far as I can tell - the best in its category. I only paid £350 for it brand new. Takes great quality photos and has good effects features. Lenses galore and not too expensive. Loads of second hand ones about too. Only downside is the video will only shoot for up to 20 mins at a time.

    This camera is an incredible value for money DSLR. Combine it with a vast array of lenses...you can achieve an interesting selection of shots at semi professional level. Good battery life and ease of operation and intuitive touchscreen that has all the information needed.

    Very pleased with the purchase.

    Was a little surprised with the packaging as it wasn't of the original body only but the kit packaging and the charger switch was not the original either but that's fine as I needed a 3 pin and so they made the change for me. The sd card jack was a little stiff and so was the monitor when turning but otherwise very very pleased.
