Excellent for multitasking. This replaces my work-issued phone. Very slim and compact. Aside from lack of outside camera, this beats the Duo 2 due to compactness and flexibility. Hinge lacks a little of the resistance/stiffness that would be present with a newer product; though still fully functional. Arrived quickly. Happy with customer service. Would recommend

This device is truly innovative and not comparable with any other device on the market, today. You can’t compare it to a Samsung Z fold 2, as it uses to separate screens and not one app, to one large screen. The Microsoft apps make use of the two screens and fit perfectly- giving you a desktop experience. It’s more of a business device, although media consumption is ideal, especially hands free. I use buds to receive and make calls, as the device is rather large folded back and held to your ear. The camera is only adequate, so budding photographers should look elsewhere! The hardware is second to none and your device won’t be cracking from folding, unlike other competitors. Yes it’s expensive and I do recommend you purchase the UK model as my first model was from the USA and it suffered battery issues and was extremely buggy and of course warranty on such an expensive device will only be honoured to devices purchased from the UK! All in all I can recommend and I don’t think I could go back to a glass candy bar slab - they’re too small! Read full review

This isn't for a regular phone user. If you use your phone to take high quality photos, for gaming or just for calls and texts, then this really isn't for you. If you want to get stuff done, get organised and particularly if you're in the Microsoft ecosystem, this may well be for you. I've found that I rarely need to touch my laptop any more as this device pretty much does it all. It's really hard to explain how two screens make things easier, but they do! This is a first generation product and the software is very much a work in progress. The hardware is the usual beautiful Surface quality and it'll slow you down when you're out and about because people will keep stopping you to ask about your phone! Microsoft are promising a big software update and Android 11 late 2021 to coincide with the launch of the Duo 2. If you want a better camera and NFC, you may want to wait for that to come out.
